Horror Image

There was no direction in the gloom. All he could understand was fear. The fear of hypothermia, the fear of suffocation, the fear of death. Shards of ice stabbed through his hands as he searched desperately for salvation. He could feel the cold marbled surface of his glass dome. He could see the light of the world outside. But he could not reach this newfound hope. His watery prison would not relinquish its hold. Somewhere, somewhere along this imprenetrable fortress, there existed, a door. The very same opening that had sucked him in. Into the depths of this exotic new alien nation. Into this foreign new watery world, into this frozen, crystal tomb.
