(obviously nowhere near finished... sorry.)
Plain and simple: clowns scare the crap out of me. Happy ones, sad ones, or just plain creepy ones, it doesn't matter- each and every one of them is a great big colorful bundle of horror. But WHY?
Well, it could be the fact that they're covered with makeup from head to toe and forever acting their part. Their fake smile is always in place, constantly covering up their true personalities. Well that makes them a liar in my book. Strike one.
It could also be the way they ALWAYS want to hug or tickle you, to the point where it's almost sick. And then of course there is the one time you actually do let them give you a terrifying, one-second hug, just long enough for Grandma to take your picture, with utter chaos roaring in your brain, frantically checking for security guards, running over what little karate you learned in first grade, and ready to bolt at any second. And if that wasn't enough, the second you make with them, you realize that clowns don't smell half as happy as they look. You suddently get a whiff of stale fast food, get a taste of mothballs, and are practically drowned in B.O.
